Just In case You Are Interested in Lij's Coffee Habit!!

Starbucks advertise Elijah's preference as an "Iced Venti no-water Americano". I know nowt about coffee so I went to look. If you, like me, haven't had coffee for forty years - this is for you!! I like to know things.

Iced is obvious

Venti is a 24 ounce cold, (20 oz hot) cup. Italian for twenty. (it holds more liquid when cold for some reason.)

Americano is Espresso with water and one extra shot of coffee. If Lij is having it without the water, it's not an Americano, really. But it must be very strong. He does push the boat out, our boy, does he not? Everything to excess.

Wishes he would drink water and not smoke. Ah, me!! :D

But I think it was at ORC two years ago that he mentioned he likes his venti cup with 4 shots of espresson. Between the nicotine and the caffeine, no wonder he buzzes so much!

Yeesh! I couldn't drink 2 oz of Starbuck's, much less 20! I love coffee but "Charbucks" didn't get that nickname for nothing.

My fav Starbucks coffee is a moca with cream and extra shoot of expresso *grins*

The one Elijah likes sounds strong --though not much if it's natural coffee (Americano). Expresso is much stronger.

Iced coffee? Never fancied it myself :) Costa Coffee is nicer, I think so after tasting both. Such a large size too.

I'm strictly a tea drinker (esp if it's Twinings' Russian Caravan - hmmm mmm).

Yes I wish he'd do less coffee and ciggies. Someone who was an extra at the Oxford Murders said that he has this awful chesty cough. I do so worry for his little hobbit lungs!
