Hello, dear friends! Just a bit of news about my fic site - Enjoy The Journey. Do feel free to skip this !....




This site which Salogel kindly made and maintained for me is no longer being used to upload further fic, although it will remain there, as it's very pretty.

Sal has been so kind as to make wonderful manips and put my stories up there but now she has found that she is too busy to do so, and the awkward funny squiggles she has had to battle are getting too much for her eyes.

Therefore she has asked me to see if there is anyone here who knows html and could take over the postings of these stories...

...but I feel it is not fair to ask people who are so busy with their own concerns to take on mine, and would be really sad to have someone take it on and then have to stop doing it, so Richie my son (digigrader) has opened a lj for all my fic and spent a couple of hours last night putting stories there that I have posted elsewhere - except Ama Me Fideliter, the first thing I ever wrote, (if anyone did read this on LOTR_RPS yahoo) - which will be up there presently.

He also put all my stories on a disk, at the same time, so if my putie goes belly-up in the future, I'll have em all in one place. Love that man!


He will put up Son of Set, too, when I give him a free minute. Bless.

So thank you, again, Sal for all your hard work, and if anyone wants to look at the new lot, the Enjoy The Journey link on this lj goes directly to the new lj.

It's so wonderful of your son to do that for you - when I saw the beginning of this entry I was immediately thinking I could maintain it for you, but this is a great solution as well. I went over and saw the links and all, and it looks really pretty. I like the lay out he/you chose.

He is wonderful. And I hope he will show me how to do it myself as he says it's easy-peasy. But my eyes are not good so I'm hoping I can do it. Hugs you back. :D

Like elfellon111, I was all ready to jump in and volunteer, as I quite enjoy html and to be honest, I'm hardly updating my own site much these days. But it looks like you've got it sorted, Issi. Your son is adorable :)

I don't think I read Ama Me Fideliter (though I'm rubbish with titles!), so I look forward to reading that one when it appears.

Ama is my maiden work, so to speak, and Lij is not the mature being I think he has become these days, but I like him nonetheless. And it's not as bad as another early one "what I wrote" so LSR can mend it for me, after which it MAY be fit to be read!

I feel awful that I can't carry your site on for you. The increase in digital work on my part is going to keep me uber busy!

One word of warning. With a geocities free account, if it remains untouched for a year, then Yahoo will delete it! So if Rich can go into it every few months, and just do something then the site will stay there permentatly!
