Oncer poner time there was a little girl, aged three, who decided she was old enough to dress herself, so her mother gave her a jumper (sweater) to put on.

Unfortunately this proved a bit too complicated for the child, and after struggling for some time and getting her head stuck in the sleeve, she sighed and muttered sadly from the woolly depths, "It can get very lonely in a jumper, you know".

This year, my resolution is to not let people I know and love feel lonely, with or without the jumper.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, peace, love and happiness to all my dear friends in lj land.

Ru xxxxxxxxxx

Just a little un-beta'ed (blushes) thing for the New Year...

Set in a time before Mac Tire and Son of Set. NC -17 or thereabouts

Lij pressed down on warm, silken flesh; the skin trembling underneath his fingers. "Have you missed me? Do you want me?" he whispered, his breath travelling moist and warm onto his lover's neck.

"Gods, yes! Oh, yes!" came the urgent answer, the voice trembling over the edge of need into desperate wanting. "Please! Please!" Hands drifted over warm planes of flesh, touching, feeling, remembering. Four weeks is far too long to be apart when one loves. "Oh, Lij - please!"

Lij smiled. "Patience, my love. I need..." What he needed was never disclosed, as his lips fastened on a tight nipple, teasing it out of the clutching flesh - hard, erect, aching with need. His lover groaned. It was too intense, this feeling - this wanting.

Slowly Lij's hand moved downwards between shivering legs, searching for what he needed. "Gods!" he moaned as he found it...warm, hard, inviting, and his.

"Is this...nice?" he smiled, massaging the urgent flesh rising further in his hand. "Do you like this? Is it...?"
Sharp teeth grasped his lip, and tugged at it like a terrier at a bone, bruising the flesh - and stilling his voice

"Now! I want you inside me, now, Lij!"

Lij moved, sheathing hard flesh in tight heat. "Now, yes!" he groaned, as the movement under him quickened.

This was all...but this was everything. As the keening voice of his lover rose higher, Lij came with him - white hot sparks dancing on the edge of his vision. This was all he desired. Dom. His Dom, in their little River House, on a warm summer's night in Egypt.

oh god, that was such a great thing to read on the first morning of 2006! Thank you for that, my dear. I love your lovers, and I do confess to loving them in Egypt most of all :)

Your words re the jumper made me laugh out loud. Were you the child or was the child one of yours? I once laid the table for dinner when my older children were aged 6 and 3. My son, the 6 year-old, wanted to sit next to me but his little sister did too and usually got her way. She declared she had the most right to sit next to me because she had been in my tummy. He glared at her and said "well, so was I!" to which she replied, most indignantly: "well, I don't remember seeing you in there!"

Happy 2006, Ru.

I nearly choked on my porridge when I read that. Children are priceless! And, no, the girl lost inside the jumper was not alas, me....but it could have been!

Happy 2006 to you and yours, Tri! XXX

Happy New Year, dear!
I was in the Frenchgate on Saturday. I can't say I'm very impressed. It's just so, so *bland*. I miss that old Adam & Eve they had years ago... They should commission a Dom & Elijah in fig leaves. That'd make shopping fun!

Thanks and I hope 2006 is a very good year for you!

I don't often go into the Frenchgate myself, but was in just before Christmas. It's looking better than when it was all boarded up, but yes I agree, *bland*... No focal point at all, not even the fountains :/

What a great idea - Lij and Dom in fig leaves!!! I'd never be out of the place! ;D Especially if they were artistically draped around each other, mmmmmmm......
