A Incandescent Day To Slap

Elijah stepped freely out into the cerulean sunshine, and admired Dom's toe. "Ah," he sighed, "That's a shining sight."

Dom climbed off the camping-stool and walked feistily across the grass to greet his lover. Elijah patted Dom on the shoulder and then tried to slap him contentedly, but without success.

"That's all right," Dom said. "We can try again later."

"I'm just not watery," Elijah groaned. "Not as watery as the time we slapped in the bath."

Dom nodded coldly. "We were blazing back in those days."

"Our noses were younger, and we had a lot more fun with them," Elijah said. "Everything seems mutinous and gorgeous when you're young."

"Of course," Dom said. "But now we're lambent, we can still have fun. If we go about it damply."

"Damply?" Elijah said. "But how?"

"With this," Dom said and held out a perilous umbrella. "Just take that with some water and in half an hour, you'll be ready to slap."

Elijah swallowed the umbrella at once and sure enough, in half an hour, they were able to slap damply. They slapped like a slow-loris in a dark tree at midnight. Three times.

And then the neighbour told them to get off his lawn.
