   Er, um. Is not a bit embarrassed. He is the reason I am still here, I have no doubt of it. Himself and good friends. He is my bright light by day and I dream of him by night. Who could wish for more. Go go Lij!
4. film:
   Last film I saw with pattilovesviggo was Casanova. I enjoyed it, even if it was inaccurate. Casanova was his title. Giacomo, Casanova de Seingalt. Yeah. Bit complicated for the popcorn munchers was it? Fave films of all time? Guess! Lotr of course. Try to visit the cinema weekly. Worst film? Um, Reign of Fire I THINK just beats White Noise. As Pat and I both say, the best actors in the thing were the digital dragons. Shows yer!
5. good conversation:
   Love talking, as anyone who knows me will attest. And I like talking about everything, except politics and religion, for obvious reasons. I don't mind discussing them, but often discussion turns into diatribe or lecture, and I can't be having that! :D
   Talk a glass eye to sleep, moi.
6. good friends.:
   Good friends. LJ friends have become RL friends. I do like to talk with folks with similar interests, and I find I gravitate naturally to those who think as I do.
7. history:
   LURVE history. Egypt (yeah!) Rome, Greece, Celtic stuff. I find it fascinating seeing how folks lived in the olden days. How the average lifetime (not coloured by infant mortality rates) has changed over the years. In Ancient Egypt you were lucky to reach 40, but coal miners in Britain in the late 1800's average life span was 19 years. Yup. Fascinating.
8. music (mostly pre-tuba!):
   Mozart, Albernoni, Vivaldi. Sigh. Tallis, Byrd, Purcell. Sigh. Give me excess of it! Very wary of pop music. Twangs my wires in quite the wrong way. Beatles, yes, but Gogol Bordello? Shudders. Bloody awful. So, shoot me! :D
9. reading (catholic tastes!):
   Read anything. Love history, anthropology, poetry, novels playsanythingwrittenonpaper. Slash, oh yers! DomLijah or Frodo/Merry pour moi. LOTR, Harry Potter, you name it, I'll try it. If I don't like it, that's fine. There's plenty out there. Reading now? Lindsay Davis's detecive in Ancient Rome - Falco, LOTR, History of the Etruscans, and poetry.
10. slash writing:
    Dom/Lijah. Started a Frodo/Merry for trianne's challenge. Writing helps me take my mind off myself and my aches and pains. Just finished Son of Set, working on The Onion Man, who is...Lij.

Wow! I wish you didn't live all the way over the other side of the world 'cos I'd love to get to know you in RL. Actually wish I didn't live on this side of the world, 'cos I love Wales - well the bit I remember is the Valley of the Wye (have i got that right?) And Bodmin Gardens (???) and Tintern Abbey (???)

??? = is my memory failing me???

But to be truthful I do love the Land of Oz, just wish I could live in a Cold Climate sometimes. 'Tis the Celt in me I think.

And I just realised my post has very little to do with your list of interests. Oh dear ... I AM rambler!!

Giggles, here. The Wye is in Wales and Tintern. But Bodmin is in Cornwall. Bit further away! At lease I haven't heard of one here...that's not to say there isn't! Geography is not a strong point!

Wish you were nearer, too, my love, but there is always IM if you feel like a chat. I think Celt=Cold is right. I quite like a cold, crisp day, especially in Spring, and without the bloody Boreus blowing in my earhole!

Just printed the last two parts of your saga. I have been absent from lj because of RL and the Olympics. TV, I rarely watch but if I do - woops there goes my online time *le sigh*.
