OK, I was close to being right about “who dunnit”, but I didn’t have the reason correct. The two people I thought might have reason to want to harm Lij was either one of the smugglers or Giles Monaghan’s father. I thought his father might want to just because he didn’t approve of Dom being involved with Lij. It never occurred to me that Giles would have a motive, however. I wasn’t sure why the smuggler’s would want to hurt Lij or who exactly would do it, but I thought one of them might.
So let me get this straight. Giles was at the smuggler’s place and thought Lij had seen him there? So he told Jack that Lij had snitched on them resulting in his father’s death?
I’m very glad that Dom and Lij got the air cleared quickly this time. Now we get to see what happens to Jack and how Lij gets better.
