I think this is my favourite of all your stories, and that's saying something, Issi :) You strike exactly the right note in this and it's never anything less than entertaining and rich. I've read otherwise excellent AUs where the author feels obliged to labour certain points about the period to the extent that it feels almost like a history lesson. But this never does; though it does awake a desire to find out more, lol, which is always a good thing. Very nice artwork by Prim there, too :)
