14.Who did you want to replace John Smith - Blair, Brown or Beckett? - I thought the Archangel Michael might be a good choice for PM. I still do.

15.Who were your Blue Peter presenters? - Valerie Singleton, Peter Purves and John Noakes were my sons' presenters! I was too old!

16.It's Friday, it's five to five, and it's...Crackerjack!!!

You commit blasphemy! Marmite is WONDERFUL! All I know is that some enterprising person made a spread out of the gunk left in beer vats after it had been brewed. I, for one, am eternally grateful. Marmite, on toast with REAL butter! Yummy. :D xxx

Well, that says it ALL really *LOL*
No, honestly I didn't know that, but now you say so it did taste a lot like yeast. Well, I tried it once, glad you enjoy it, but I think I'll stick to this once in a lifetime experience. *g* I washed my tongue under a running faucet after one bite ;D
((hugses))

'Diabetics do not eat choccie biccies!' I'm saying nothing!

You did make me laugh. Sadly, I cannot participate except for the choccies and cookie questions and the answer is 'YES'. :D

I see we have a lot in common there Ru. Do you remember 'Double or Drop'? I can still see all those poor kids on pedestals trying to balance prizes and cabbages!!!!!

Heh, Ru, there's a jar of Marmite living in my fridge, ever since [livejournal.com profile] grievous_angel's last visit (June 2007).
I guess it'll serve her for years and years to come- I just can't abide the stuff.
(And, no, I don't like Earl Grey either; I love you Brits to pieces, but some of the things you choose to eat/ drink!!!)

M&S... once we had two branches here, in The Hague and in Amsterdam, and I still miss them!

First PM: Harold MacMillan (go, me!)

And Boris Johnson?? Hm, no comment
:-)

I really do not like Marmite, but I *do* like HP sauce on a cheese sandwich. I really British food, but it's pretty hard to come by over here. Except for some chocolate and cookies and beer, etc, but I really have to stay away from that stuff as well.

Did you know all the queen's children's names by heart? I'm impressed! I have no idea what the full names of our queen's sons are. I think they have even more than four names each!

GOSH - I feel like I'm reading a foreign language!! Although I do know who Boris Johnson is - saw him at the closing ceremony for the Olympics in China. ANd I know John Curry and Robin Cousins too. After that it's pretty much a blank - but it was still fun to read your answers. God - how I love your sense of humor!!

ANd I'm with Prim - I think we could use Archangel Michael over here STAT!!

Yey! Good answers there Sis, I only know the princes` first names.
Marmite? Yuck! Only tried it once, probably at your house `cos I`ve never bought it. Crackerjack! Great for juggling cabbages is true LOL.
Hope to come over on Sunday :)
