Eeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhh!! Thank goodness for Dan being so observant, and for Em's maiden having trouble with her belly! Now I can't help but wonder: Did Leofric come up with this by himself, or is this in fact the "urgent task" the king sent him on - if there ever was such a task? I wouldn't put it beyond the king to get rid of his detested oldest son so his younger brother who he prefers can inherit the throne, frankly. Something more than merely Leofric's obsession is playing a part here...
