I have no idea if you'll be interested so, if you don't think poetry is your cup of tea, you can skip it with my blessing, as it's one of mine - it's not a long one. Giggles.






Because this is a poem set in RealTime, I must tell you that it is all the product of my feverish imagination, and as far as I know, both Dom n Lij are as straight as arrows. ;D


New Zealand - Dom



Walk with me now,
through the grass -
the long grass in the valley
where love was born.

Sit quietly under the tree
that was its mother,
bending her arms to shield us
as we lay, forgetting
yesterday and tomorrow.

Come - watch with me, now,
as I wind the cobwebs into a silver ball,
remembering the hour
that bound the threads of our undoing.

Lie with me, love,
under the sky,
Counting the stars to sleep,
silent:
Whilst I remind you, gently,
my lips upon your lips,
why the tree sought
to cover us.

It is apparent that Lij is fascinated by Dom's mouth, isn't it? Remember the clips and pictures from the press conference during the Japan "Fellowship" premiere? Lij couldn't take his eyes off Dom's mouth. Maybe Lij's hearing is impaired and he has to read lips. :D

The tree is a willow, whose branches sweep to the ground, protecting our boys. I don't care if they haven't got any in NZ, it's MY dream, dammit!

Oh Ru, so lovely... They may both be straight as arrows (though I think Dom may be a teensy bit more 'bent' than Elijah)but the pictures of them together over the years have convinced me that, together or apart, there's real, abiding love there (physical AND spiritual). I'm inclined to think that Dom rocked Elijah's world from day one...first true man crush, romantic feelings, etc....and I will go to my grave believing that through all the women (Franka, etc.) Dom remains the true soul mate...
