A most enjoyable first chapter, Ru. Elijah seems a most pleasant, reasonable and generous young man, and fit for his new appointed task. That he has sustained an injury to his leg while fighting alongside Richard, and now walks with a limp, rather makes me fan myself - there's something very appealing about lame!Elijah!! Dom got off on the wrong foot (no pun intended!) with Elijah - makes for interesting relations!
Looking forward to reading on. Will probably leave next comment when I get to the end of the story.
