I'm sorry so late. I finally got to read this last night. It was fantastic!!!!!!!! Another dear friend in Horsa. But oh the idea of Lighe taken, naked (oh my the idea), hurt and now being forced to wait for Leofric to return and try abusing him. He is so freakin spunky though and didn't show his fear. But I was so sad thinking of him there like that. I have a feeling his father is behind it and it is so hurtful. I was so happy that you said that the children love Lighe and I loved his father being described as mean. Thank goodness for the brilliant and helpful deductions of Dan and Em and Dom doing all he can to find him. There is a pity there nad strong respect, admiration, and at the end...a little more (as his belly turned over).
