Oh what a beautiful chapter. The time they had together, the assault on Dom but not on Dom...and Elijah's horror of his actions even though Dom knew what was happening through the whole thing.
I really wanted Dom to confess to Elijah the truth but understand that maybe Dom needed to believe this lie for the constable's visit also. i think Dom will tell Elijah the truth because we know Elijah cannot easily live with the fear that Harry will come back. He was already second guessing his decision to send harry to Jamaica in the last chapter. Maybe when Dom does tell Elijah the truth (or elijah may guess it), there will be relief and understanding. They are so lovely together and so deeply in love. I loved the referrence to "our room"...the Doctor's taking all this in.
Elijah is not out of the woods form the poison yet poor fella..from the bullet to this to the betrayal...Dom is his only point of light. I love that they cling to this love so tightly now and how precious their love is.
