I read this after Urak-Hai. I was tensed up...in bed..nighty night. Then read this beautiful peice of work. "I will love you, and keep myself only for you, until death parts us. There, I have said it, and I mean it, and you must not doubt it." After what Elijah had already said to Dom, I was in tears...really...it was so touching and so honest and so beautiful. But unfortunately, Dom could not tell Elijah his feelings because they were interrupted. This makes me worry that something will happen to Elijah and Elijah will not know of Dom's undying love, even though Dom told him he would never marry, which I LOVED. But Dom will feel so angry with himself if he doesn't get to tell Elijah that he loves him...just as Elijah so bravely and unselfconsciously said to him. It was so moving. Seeing someone have happiness for the first time in their life is so painfully moving...and doing this in this time frame of such restrictions makes it so much stronger. Its a wonderful story.
