I've been neglectful in commenting. I think those last few chapters are wonderful. It's great fun to see Dom and Lij evolve. I love how Lij is stronger with his mother and more generous towards his servants. Interesting dialogues among the staff, too. I also love how Dom is finally changing tactics. He offers Lij some kindness, adventure, freedom, excitment...and maybe love, eventually. He will become the indispensable Lord Monaghan.
